As the founder of several successful AI companies, professor, keynote speaker and author, he stands for the connection between research and practice. High-ranking representatives from politics, business, non-profit organizations and science met at the World Economic Forum in Davos. One of the selected guests was Prof. Dr. Peter Gentsch. The digitalization expert spoke on the topic of artificial intelligence (AI) and the associated opportunities for the German economy in an international environment. In his presentation entitled “AI in Germany: We have an opportunity – so let’s seize it!”, he spoke about what needs to happen now in order to exploit the potential locally.

AI professors Gentsch and Au found Retail.ai GmbH with Markant AG to support retail and FMCG in introducing generative AI

Offenburg, Frankfurt, 25.4.24 – On March 28, AI pioneers and professors Peter Gentsch and Christian Au founded Retail.ai GmbH in Frankfurt am Main with Markant AG as the main shareholder. Retail.ai offers retail and FMCG companies four services: Generative AI solutions specifically for the industry, an academy for up- and re-skilling in companies, a lab for industry-specific AI research and the Alliance as a knowledge hub and forum for practitioners and users.
